General Questions
Quilling is the art of using of strips of paper that are rolled, shaped, and glued together to create decorative designs.
Japanese Tant paper was originally used as origami paper. It is exactly the same weight as the original Juya strips, however it is slightly textured. This makes it really good for on-edge quilling.
Japanese Tant paper comes in up to 96 different colours, and at the moment I stock over 6o of these. Swatch packs available to purchase so if at any time you saw a colour in there that I don’t stock, I will happily order them in for you.
I also have the full range of 60 single colour Juya papers along with gradient, mixed and metallic papers.
I have a selection of sizes for each colour, with more on the way. See individual colours for the exact sizes I stock for each colour.
Tant papers come in widths of 1.5mm, 3mm, 5mm and 10mm. These quilling papers come in packs of 40 strips and are 390mm long.
Single colour Juya strips come in withs of 2mm, 3mm, 5mm and 10 mm. These quilling papers come in packs of 100 strips and are also 390mm long.
At pd Quilling we don’t offer quilling workshops, but have partnered with the excellent Quirky Quillers who offer workshops and a quilling community.
